SQ has awarded MacroAsia Catering the Merit Award for Excellence in Catering for FY15/16. To celebrate this achievement, an appreciation dinner was hosted by Country Manager Ms. Carol Ong and Station Manager - Mr. Eugene Goh on 07 Mar 2017 at the Spectrum Restaurant in Fairmont Makati. No trophy was received.
For the SQ Excellence in Catering Award FY2014/15, MacroAsia Catering Services – Manila was awarded as Merit Winner. The award was received on 26 May 2016 given by Country Manager Ms. Carol Ong and Station Manager Mr. Eugene Goh.

For the 3rd time in a row, MACS has been recognized in Cathay Pacific'ss Annual Caterers Performance Recognition Programme (CPRP) 2014, achieving the second GOLD award after the Diamond award in 2012. The award was presented to the team during the award ceremony held at MACS's catering facility on 18 June 2015.
Representatives from the CX Head Office in Hong Kong, Mr. Aaron Claxton, Manager Catering Services, Mr. Thomas Chung, Regional Catering Manager, as well as Mr. Jojo Aganinta of Manila, Airport Services Manager presented the award to MACS during the ceremony.

With the objective to enhance the current catering quality standards of their outport catering stations, Hong Kong Dragon Airlines Limited (Dragonair) introduced their newly developed Caterer Performance Management Program (CPMP) in 2012. This program serves as a very comprehensive system to measure and recognize caterers’ performance from all perspectives including Quality, Safety & Customer Satisfaction.
The survey was conducted in January 2013 and MacroAsia Catering Services (MACS) in Manila has successfully achieved the Silver Award in recognition as a top performing caterer amongst the 24 catering outstations worldwide. The outcome of the CPMP survey indicates that MACS is outstanding in all perspectives of the 7 measuring criteria and executed reliable, consistent and high quality catering services to Dragonair.
The awarding ceremony was held at The Den, Marriott Hotel last 12 April 2013. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Patrick Yeung, Dragonair’s Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Andy Wong, General Manager for Inflight Services. Ms. Kim Chong, Manager for Catering Services and Mr. Edmond Lo, Manager for Performance, Quality Assurance & Special Projects.

Korean Air once again bestows MACS with the distinction of having garnered 1st amongst 14 other catering stations in the region and 2nd amongst 51 overseas catering stations worldwide.
The award given in a recent KE Yearly Caterer Assessment Program with inclusive dates July 2007 to June 2008 was based on the following parameters like aircraft servicing, number of complaints and on time reply to complaints, hygiene, timely submission of equipment and bonded items inventory.

KOREAN AIR A Testament of Passion, Dedication and Hard Work. On October 01, 2007, Korean Air Manila bested other stations after receiving its award as “The Best Station” worldwide. The award is given twice a year by Korean Air Head Office to its overseas station in its effort to boost the morale of the airline by recognizing the hard work, dedication and passion put into it by KE staff, ground support and the catering supplier.
For its part, Korean Air had given this plaque of appreciation to MACS recognizing its effort to lower down the meal wastage bringing forth additional revenue to the airline.

Barely logging 18 months in its existence in 2000, MACS was awarded Cathay Pacific Airways Hygiene Award for 1999.
The award was a feat for MACS, having bested 44 other in-flight caterers in the CX system all over the world, even with most of them being larger, renowned companies in the industry.
The award was handed over by Mr. Adrian Ort (CX Manager-Catering Services) together with Ms. Karen Combes (CX Regional Catering Manager) last April 11, 2000.
Lufthansa Silver Quality Award

One of the best measures of a firm’s operational excellence is the recognition coming from its customers. Lufthansa has a performance monitoring system called Quality Cube, which aims to monitor the products and services rendered by its caterer worldwide on an annual basis.
In 2000, Lufthansa bestowed to MACS the Silver Quality Award besting 13 other catering units in the Asia/India region.
Having won the Lufthansa The Silver Quality Award, MACS is indeed a cut above the rest. It has lived up to the distinction of being the market leader and most-preferred airline caterer in the Philippines.
